29th of Nov. no.2

I decided to name this blog "The Undecided".

The reason of this title was originally simple: just I cound not hit on any good title for my blog and decided to name it later.

However, now the title has another meaning. Since I don't decide any particular topic to write about on this blog, it's named "The Undecided". I write about what I feel like writing about on the moment. Nothing is planned before and I'm the undecided (a person who doesn't decide something before). That's the basic meaning of this blog.

Day before yesterday I wrote on another, meaning previous, blog about why I restarted to write blog again. And I said it's because I read an autobiography of a historian, Akira IRIYE.

Mr. Iriye is a professor of history in Harvard University. As his name shows, he is a Japanese. Here is his background if you are interested: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akira_Iriye.

He is one of the greatest Japanese heroes people respect, I think. This is because he stood on the top of academic researcher by means of becoming a professor in Havard univeristy when even study abroad was difficult for usual students.

He has written diaries since he was ten (the time was just after the second world war). Although he says he didn't intend to be a historian in those days, his diaries now are main sources of his autography.

Although I don't think to be a histrian nor to wirte my autography later in my life, I think what he has done is cool. Thus, I decided to write this blog again instead of diary.
